Practicum Opportunities
Practicum is quite literally defined as a practical source of study. This course is offered at Covenant College as an opportunity for students to leave campus and apply their knowledge in an unpaid, part-time job. Students are given the option to chose their practicum depending on what career they are interested in. Covenant wants you to succeed, and a great way to do that is by giving you an opportunity to gain experience, knowledge, and understanding in ways that simply cannot be learned in the classroom.

How much say do I actually get in picking my practicum?
Led by Dr. Honeycutt, the practicum program is very flexible because you and your learning experience are the priority. While there are some guidelines as to what opportunities qualify, you can work with Dr. Honeycutt to find a great fit, or if you have somewhere specific in mind, you can get your own idea approved! The possibilities are truly endless - you can even do your practicum over the summer!
